Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum are teaming up to ward off Daniel Radcliffe’s maniacal billionaire in the first trailer of Paramount’s The Lost City. The trailer also features a cameo by Brad Pitt which makes the film look even more interesting.
Sandra plays Loretta Sage, a novelist writes romance-adventure books but is not much of an adventurer herself. She is reluctant to promote her new book because she would rather just stay at home and have champagne with ice in the bathtub. However, on her editor’s persuasion she agrees to go on tour with her handsome cover model Alan (Channing Tatum), who has dedicated his life to embodying the hero character, Dash from her novels.

However, things suddenly go haywire when an eccentric billionaire played by Daniel Radcliffe kidnaps Loretta and tasks her to lead him to the ancient lost city’s treasure from her latest story. Wanting to prove that he is indeed a hero in real life too, Alan sets off to rescue Loretta. The unlikely pair must face their own demons as they are thrust into an epic jungle adventure. They are helped by Brad Pitt who makes a cameo appearance in the film. Other cast members include Patti Harrison, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Oscar Nunez.
The Lost City is directed by Adam and Aaron Nee. They have also written the script with Dana Fox. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on March 25, 2022.
