Thank you for 40 years of Bey-lage: Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Ed Sheeran, Billie Eilish and others come together to wish Beyonce on her birthday

Truly, Beyonce is a 'Stage Slayer'. Popularly known as Queen Bey, the pop star is aware of how to make heads turn. On Saturday, the world celebrated 'Beyonce Day' as the 'queen' turned 40. Her fans across the globe sent her good wishes and hoped for a year filled with happiness and success. On the occasion, Harper's Bazaar US honoured their September 2021 cover star with a personalised video with birthday wishes from the who's who of Hollywood. 

The special video opened with Oprah Winfrey saying, "Hello Miss B". Reese Witherspoon then appeared on the screen to say, "Happy birthday, Bey!" Billie Eilish and First Lady Jill Biden cheerfully wished Beyonce. In addition to this, J. Balvin, Ed Sheeran, Maxine Waters, Jennifer Hudson, Mindy Kaling and Chris Martin all join to wish the pop star. Taylor Swift and Issa Rae too join in.

Making the video star-studded, Kerry Washington dropped in to say, "Welcome to your 40s — this is the best decade!" Oprah added, "The 40s are everything you have been waiting for!" Laverne Cox shared, "You've given me and so many others permission to be free to embrace all that we are. You've given us a blueprint for excellence that when we think you can't surpass yourself, you do...no pressure!" Journalist Emil Wilbekln stated, "And on behalf of the Native Son community we thank you for 40 years of slayage!"

Ed Sheeran sang a line from Beyonce's, Smash Into You whereas Wyclef Jean played her hit song If I Were a Boy on the piano.
