After Rihanna, teen climate activist Greta Thunberg 'stands in solidarity' with farmers

Protesting farmers in Punjab are now receiving support from international stars and social activists. The farmers have been on the streets protesting for quite some months now as they express dislike for the three new farm bills. The international pop star, Rihanna, on Tuesday, tweeted in favour of the farmers. Now, teen climate activist Greta Thunberg has also extended her support.

Hours after Rihanna's tweet, Greta, on Twitter, wrote, "We stand in solidarity with the #FarmersProtest in India." She also shared an article written about the government blocking the mobile internet services in areas around New Delhi on Saturday, January 30, 2021.

American climate justice activist, Jamie Margolin, tweeted, "It is important that the international community stand in solidarity with the #FarmersProtest! #IStandWithFarmers — please support the #FarmersProstests in India! @LicypriyaK"

Jacqueline Fernandez's Doppelganger, Amanda Cerny, also extended her support.
