Please stop trying to ‘Thank you, next’ me: Max Ehrich claims he found out about his breakup with Demi Lovato through a tabloid

In July 2020, Singer-actress Demi Lovato shared the news of her engagement with actor boyfriend Max Ehrich. However, looks like things hit rock bottom after the big news as the couple has now broken up. While Demi informed Max about the break-up, he claims to have known about the news through a tabloid.

In a now-deleted Instagram story, Max wrote, “Please stop trying to ‘Thank you, next’ me,” a reference from Ariana Grande's famous break-up song. “For I’m just a human being who has to go to work tomorrow AM where there are families with kids relying on me. To this moment… we haven’t spoken over the phone… we haven’t even officially ended anything to each other, literally. I’m here in real time with y’all. I love Demetria and just want her to be healthy and safe.”

He then wrote a message directly to Demi, saying, “If you’re reading this… I love you always… unconditionally… no matter what.” He then added, “Demetria is THEE best female vocalist alive. And everyone should know it. She inspires me every day and is an INCREDIBLE human being. I know it’s not her writing these stories, it’s a machine. I love her unconditionally.”

A source exclusively told E! News, "Demi wants no contact with Max at this point. She is completely embarrassed at the way he's been acting and putting their relationship on blast via social media. She wants nothing to do with him." The source addde that Max has "tried to reach out" to the singer and says he's "in denial" that their engagement is over. The insider also said that Max's "erratic behavior" is "worrying" for Demi, who "does not want the situation to escalate."

"Demi is completely done and doesn't want to see him again at this point," the source explains. "She can't believe she fell into his trap and is really upset over it."
