77th Golden Globes: Brad Pitt takes home Best Actor in a Supporting Role award after 24 years, thanks his 'all-star' co-actor Leonardo DiCaprio, watch

The prestigious and dazzling 77th Golden Globe Awards 2020 kicked off in an exciting way on Sunday, January 5, 2020, at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The stunning awards ceremony which is organised by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association will honour not only films but also television shows. With the best of both the worlds receiving accolades, the awards hold a special importance in cinema. Among several rightful wins, Brad Pitt took home the trophy for Best Actor in a Supporting Role award for his role in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Interestingly, Brad was honoured with the same award for 12 Monkeys, 24 years ago. While receiving the award on the stage, the actor thanked his 'all-star' Leonardo DiCaprio and Quentin for the experience.

"Holy moly, thank you so much. Thank you to the eclectic and ever-raucous Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. I have to start by thanking the man himself, Mr. Quentin — the man, the myth, the legend — for this experience, for the film, one I’ll never forget. Thank you, my brother, I really appreciate it. I also have to thank my partner in crime, LDC. Before “The Revenant,” I used to watch year after year his co-stars accept awards and get up and thank him profusely. I know why he’s an all-star; he’s a gent. I wouldn’t be here without you, man. I thank you still. I would have shared the raft," Brad told in his speech.
