The sequel to John Krasinski’s 2018 horror film A Quiet Place just got a brand new first teaser trailer and poster that will definitely freak you out. The 30-second teaser shows the Abbott family cautiously and anxiously trekking into unknown territory after the events that transpired in the first film. A full-length trailer will be unveiled on New Year’s Day.

Paramount's official synopsis for A Quiet Place 2 reads, “Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.”

John Krasinski’s character died saving the family in the first part but he is helming the sequel as a writer-director this time. In A Quiet Place 2 Emily Blunt’s Evelyn will shoulder the responsibility of helping her family not only survive but also thrive facing the dangers that lurk at every corner.
