Gal Gadot starrer Wonder Woman, which released in 2017, started the trend of female-led superhero films. Now adding to the excitement, Warner Bros released the first look poster of its sequel, titled Wonder Woman 1984. Featuring Gadot as the fierce Amazon warrior Daina Prince, the release date of the superhero action film has been announced as June 5, 2020. Director Patty Jenkins revealed that they won’t be attending the San Diego Comic-Con this year and wrote on Twitter, “By now you’ve heard: WB isn’t going to Hall H this year. We’re so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official #WW84 campaign in full– But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait…”

Although we certainly cannot wait for Wonder Woman 1984, it is Gadot’s new golden suit and the colourful abstract background, spelling the letter WW (Wonder Woman), that has left us wanting for more. Not to miss, Gadot's closed fists and the powerful attitude is an indication that there's lot more action in the offing.
Wonder Woman traced the journey of warrior Diana Prince, from her origin in the land of Amazonia to her becoming a superhero. The latest film will place feature Wonder Woman in the 1980s, where she will fight against her iconic adversary, Cheetah (Kristen Wiig).
