Sophie Turner’s character takes a dark turn, shifts from GoT to the superhero world of X-Men: Dark Phoenix in the final trailer

The third and final trailer of the X-Men: Dark Phoenix has been unveiled by 20th Century Fox and, safe to say it is the best one yet! Fans have been eager to see Sophie Turner play the formidable and powerful Jean Grey as an antagonist in the series.

Directed by Simon Kinberg, the trailer showed some kickass action when Jean is nearly killed by a mysterious and cosmic force on a rescue mission in space with the X-Men team. Set to release on June 7, the film will explore Jean’s struggles to comprehend and control her newfound powers. The trailer showed how her unstable and much more powerful strength and the badass female heroine is also seen threatening Magento played by Micheal Fassbender.

"When I lose control, bad things happen”, claimed the powerful redhead in a chilling scene in the trailer.

Fans are bound to be on the edge of their seats as the team unites to save not only Jean’s soul but also the planet against aliens who want to use the force to rule the galaxy.

If you are living under the rock, Sophie rose to fame on the popular HBO show Game of Thrones which is set in the historical fantasy world of Westeros, essaying the role of Lady of Winterfell, Sansa Stark.

This was the second time fans saw the young actress in the X-Men series. Earlier Sophie was the part of 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix is adapted from the Dark Phoenix comics which was first published in the 1980s' and has been confirmed to be the last installment of the 18-year long series which first began in the year 2000.
