Hollywood superstars and actors, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been in the news because of their on-going divorce case and custody battle for their six kids. The Maleficent actress filed for divorce in 2016 yet there has been no final decision. The case keeps getting complicated. A media report suggests that Angelina has been practically starving because of stress. Though, the actress has previously confessed that she is only “focusing on healing the family.”

While the world seems to be collapsing for Angelina, she has found an ally in actress Nicole Kidman. Nicole, who is currently married to her long-time boyfriend Keith Urban, has been through an ugly divorce, too. In 2001, she sought a divorce from her then-husband Tom Cruise. However, unlike Angeline, she did not fight the battle and instead chose to settle amicably in a private settlement.

International Business Times reported, “In the past, Nicole has compared her relationship with Tom Cruise to the one that Brad and Angelina shared. Now she’s applauding Angie’s tough-as-nails approach to her high-profile custody war.” The report further added that her support for Angelina isn’t because of ill feelings for Brad, but simply because of Angelina’s courage.

“It’s just that she likes seeing the playing field levelled like this. It’s a real sign of progress that Angie wasn’t just written a check and told to keep her mouth shut, which is basically what happened in Nicole’s own divorce. The way Angie is doing things is just completely different in Nicole’s eyes because she isn’t letting Brad get away with anything or use his clout to silence her.” the report stated.

For the uninitiated, Angelina and Brad, a decade after being in a relationship, walked down the aisle in 2014 and filed for a divorce in 2016. The custody battle is for their six kids Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox.
