The Incredibles 2 new trailer: Mr. Incredible takes care of the kids while Elastigirl fights the bad guys

The fans of the animated movie The Incredibles now have a reason to feel elated and probably jump off the roof because the new trailer of the sequel to the 2004 movie has just been released. The trailer lives up to the expectations and that makes it more difficult to wait for the release of the film. The new trailer gives more glimpses on how the roles have changed in the Parr family as Elastigirl gets to take on the bad guys as a step to bring in the superheroes back in the limelight and Mr Incredible gets to play househusband and take care of the kids.

On the night of February 15, during NBC’s Olympics coverage the first trailer was dropped confirming the news of a sequel to the hugely popular animated movie. Now the second trailer is equally interesting, funny and exhilarating and yes Frozone’s testy wife also makes reappears (much to the delight of fans). In the second trailer, we get to meet a mysterious ‘tycoon’ Winston Deavor wants to bring superheroes back into limelight despite their illegality and unpopularity and picks Elastigirl over Mr Incredible much to the latter’s chagrin.

The new trailer gives a sneak peek into the trials and tribulations that Mr Incredible is facing by taking care of the house and the kids, especially when Jack-Jack’s powers are yet to be discovered fully (although the baby does have lots of cool superpowers which take the characters by surprise and succeeds in scaring them). It looks as if the youngest member of the Parr family has a really cool and huge role to play in the movie and personally I’m very much looking forward to the little tyke’s superpowers.

Fan favourite Edna Mode, makes a return in the sequel and speaks one of the best lines in the trailer when she tells Bob (Mr Incredible) that parenting done right is a heroic deed. Samuel L. Jackson reprises his role of Frozone and his out-of-screen spat with his wife is probably the best gag ever from the trailer. Most fans are looking forward to hearing their spat in detail in the movie.

The Incredibles 2 characters are given voiceover by Craig T. Nelson (Bob/Mr.Incredible) , Holly Hunter (Helen/Elastigirl), Sarah Vowell (Violet), Huck Milner (Dash), Samuel L. Jackson (Frozone), and Brad Bird (Edna Mode). The movie is written and directed by Brad Bird and will be released on June 15, 2018.
