Meghan raises eyebrows at first official public event alongside Queen Elizabeth!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will wed on May 19 this year, but Markle already joined Queen Elizabeth for the first time at an official public engagement on Monday. They attended the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey.

The Commonwealth Day service celebrates the Queen's commitment to the Commonwealth, which is made up of nearly 2.4 billion people across 53 countries.
Markle and fiancé Prince Harry were joined by Harry's brother, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. Prince Charles was also present.

However, the newly engaged couple also raised eyebrows following their little exchange during which Prince Harry raised his eyebrows! Prince Harry was caught raising his eyebrows at his fiancée after Liam Payne, former star of boy band One Direction, had finished singing “Waiting on the World To Change”. Meghan then apparently lowered her head in laughter.

While some sections of the media construed the prince’s gesture and Markle’s smiles as a criticism of the performance, others opine it could have just been a loving exchange between the couple.

After the service, Harry and Meghan met around 100 children in Dean’s Yard, behind the historic Abbey. Meghan apparently told well-wishers that she was “very, very excited” about her upcoming wedding on May 19.

The soon-to-be-wed couple recently announced their intention to invite more than 2600 members of the public into the grounds of Windsor Castle to share their wedding day.
Invitees will be able to watch the arrival of the bride and groom and their guests at St. George's Chapel, where the ceremony is to take place. They will also be able to watch the newlyweds leave the castle in a carriage procession.

The newlyweds and their guests will then attend a reception at St. George's Hall in Windsor Castle prior. This will be followed by a private evening reception for friends and family hosted by Prince Charles.
