Remember when we told you Sonam Kapoor flew to France days after her wedding with longtime beau Anand Ahuja? While the actress was dearly missing her ‘guy’, she was simultaneously prepping for the biggest fashion gala of the year – the 71st Cannes Film Festival. The 32-year-old was in attendance to represent cosmetics giant L’Oreal Paris.

Sonam is raising the fashion bar at Cannes, to say the least. It has never happened that the Kapoor scion has stepped out and not looked stunning, like NEVER HAVE I EVER seen her do something which is not in verve. And boy, oh boy, this beauty gets our heartbeats racing with a goddamn look! After strutting down the red carpet in elegance redefined couture, the style aficionado decided to amp up the oomph factor, while she casually soaked under the French sun, grabbing eyeballs like nobody’s business.

For her second day at Cannes, Sonam went for the classic game of stripes. The actress wore an Emilia Wickstead outfit, Sophia Webster heels with Bottega Veneta sunglasses. She rounded off the look with pearl earrings, red lips and minimal makeup. The Khoobsurat star opted for hair tied in a sophisticated low ponytail.

An English woman look, nailed!

The henna and the engagement stone are, by far, her best accessories.

Earlier in the day, Sonam flaunted some Bhane love with her first outfit on day 2. Swearing by the tried and tested look, Sonam joined Deepika Padukone and Mahira Khan in flaunting a casual but chic white top paired with blue denims.

Wearing a Simone Rocha top (more like a Boyfreind/Hubby shirt) and jeans from her husband’s brand Bhane Love, Sonam completed her girl boss look by wearing embellished flats from Sergio Rossi.

The actress added drama to her otherwise bland number with a bold berry pout and golden hoop earrings with her hair tied in a messy bun.

For accessories, she picked golden hoops and ditched heavy statement pieces.
