Gajraj Rao’s and Neena Gupta’s pairing in Ayushmann Khurrana’s and Sanya Malhotra’s Badhaai Ho was well-liked and became an instant rage. So much so, that they teamed up again for Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan as well. Now, PeepingMoon.com has exclusively learned that Gajraj and Neena will once again share screen space in Netflix’s Masaba Masaba.
Gajraj will be seen in a special cameo and will be seen playing himself in the series. In an exclusive picture, Neena and Gajraj can be seen shooting together for one of their films as well as for the series. Masaba Masaba is a web show based on real-life moments from Neena’s daughter ace fashion designer Masaba Gupta’s life.
The scripted series follows Masaba’s unique background, the diverse worlds she straddles across fashion and family and her foray back into the dating world. Masaba Masaba is an inspirational, joyous celebration of her life. It is a fun series packed with tongue-in-cheek humour that depicts the special relationship of mother-daughter duo Masaba and Neena.
The genre-bending series is co-written and directed by Sonam Nair and produced by Ashvini Yardi’s Viniyard Films. It also stars Kiara Advani in a cameo. Masaba Masaba will be screened on Netflix soon.
