Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has been admitted to Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai late on Wednesday evening. The actor complained of breathing problem on Wednesday morning, and was later diagnosed with mild fever and symptomatic chest infection. Rishi's wife Neetu Kapoor is by his side in the hospital.
However, it seems the situation is on the grim side for the Kapoors. PeepingMoon.com sources have revealed that Rishi is kept in a special isolation ward and has undergone COVID-19 tests. If reports turn out to be positive, the actor will be moved to the isolation ward in a day's time. Our sources further confirmed that the veteran star has noot been keeping well from last Thursday. He is being monitored by a team of doctors for past one week. For the unversed, Rishi Kapoor's bunglaow is in Pali Hill, an are which has been declared as the 'red zone' by the state government owing to the noble coronavirus rising cases.
Few news reports are also doing the rounds that Rishi Kapoor was on ventilators for the entire Wednesday, but there has been no confimation about the same. The actor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and underwent a marrow treatment and recovery that lasted over 11 months.
Bollywood's first brush with the Coronavirus scare happened earlier this month when singer Kanika Kapoor was tested positive for the same.
