Sidharth Malhotra is all set to headline Karan Johar's Dharma Productions' first action franchise Yodha. The big announcement was made on November 18 with Sidharth's first motion poster from the film. Yodha is going to be the first of many in the franchise. This is Karan's and Sidharth's eighth collaboration after Student Of The Year, Hasee Toh Phasee, Brothers, Kapoor & Sons, Baar Baar Dekho, Ittefaq, and Shershaah.
Now, Sidharth has kickstarted the film's shoot. Dharma Productions made the announcement with Sid's picture from behind with the film's clapboard. They captioned it as, "Lights, camera and…ACTION! #Yodha filming begins!"

While the leading ladies have not been announced yet, the film is said to be based on a plane hijack story as seen in the first motion poster. Yodha is believed to be an out-and-out lavishly mounted actioner planned for the big-screen cinematic experience.
The film will be directed by Dharma's new talented duo Sagar Ambre & Pushkar Ojha and will hit the screens on November 11, 2022.
