Yes, we are talking about Raj Mehta's family entertainer Jug Jugg Jeeyo starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Prajakta Koli. The film, which is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, is all set to release soon.
The star cast of the film released a quirky video this morning which showcases them connecting on a video call and asking one another to ask Karan to announce the release date of their film soon. The video is a fun way to create excitement surrounding the film's release date. In the video, Anil says Karan is busy with 'Rocky Shocky', hinting at the filmmaker's next directorial Rani Aur Rocky Ki Prem Kahani. The team then corrects him when he says Ranbir Kapoor is in the film instead of Ranveer Singh. Soon after, Varun says that Karan is doing Brahmastra with Ranbir. The hilarious video then ends with Neetu finally receiving a text from KJo regarding the new release date but her poor connection ruins it all. Looks like, we will have to wait until 4 PM today for the exciting announcement.
Sharing the video, KJo wrote on Twitter, "Never too busy for this mad bunch!! Neetu ji, poor connection has left the world on the edge! But shh, let this family only tell you when you will meet them. Stay tuned, announcement coming at 4pm!!"
Apart from Kiara, Varun, Neetu and Anil, Jug Jugg Jeeyo will also be seeing Maniesh Paul in a pivotal role.
