Though Mouni Roy is a public figure and makes headlines for her professional commitments, she has managed to keep her private life guarded as much as possible. Of late, it is all over the media that the actress who has left her mark in television and films, is dating a Dubai-based banker Suraj Nambiar. Mouni hasn't spoken about her relationship openly but it is reported that her close friends are aware of it.
For quite some time, rumours are rife that Mouni and Suraj are ready to take the next step in their relationship and tie the knot with the blessings of their families. Now, according to a news portal's report, the actress's cousin named Vidyut Roysarkar spoke to a local newspaper in Cooch Beha, West Bengal, and shared important information about her wedding. Reportedly, Vidyut confirmed that Mouni will be tying the knot with Suraj in January 2022.
As per the news portal, Vidyut told the local newspaper that the wedding will happen either in Dubai or Italy. Mouni, who apparently spent her childhood in Cooch Behar, will reportedly host a separate function for her relatives after the main wedding.
In the month of March, Mouni and Suraj's families reportedly met each other at the former's friend Mandira Bedi's residence. During the first lockdown, Mouni was stuck in the UAE.
