Taimur Ali Khan was an abrupt Caesarean, I had no milk for over 14 days but had better flow during Jeh's birth: Kareena Kapoor Khan

Balancing her duties of being a mother and an actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan is learning new things about motherhood with each passing day. She became a mother for the first time with the arrival of Taimur Ali Khan. 4 years later, she and Saif Ali Khan were blessed with another son Jeh Ali Khan in February this year. Kareena turned author with the book Pregnancy Bible in which she has penned various tips, tricks and suggestions for new mothers.

According to an entertainment portal, Kareena has also spoken about breastfeeding Taimur and Jeh in the Pregnancy Bible. A quote from the book was shared that read, “Taimur was an abrupt Caesarean. I literally had no milk for over 14 days. I was completely dry." The actress added, "My mom and my nurse would be hovering by my side, pressing at my boobs and wondering why 'it' wasn't happening".

Kareena mentioned, "(During Jeh's birth), I had much better flow and did manage to nurse him. I'll admit it - breastfeeding him (and doing it exclusively for a few weeks) felt like an achievement!"

Kareena hosted an Instagram live session with her buddy, filmmaker Karan Johar, and opened up about both her pregnancies. The actress revealed that her second pregnancy was difficult compared to the first one, when she gave birth to Taimur. "This time, it was difficult. During the time when I had Taimur, it was like a breeze and that's why I decided to go for childbirth again. But Jeh was difficult," Kareena said.

Workwise, Kareena is gearing up to return to work. She announced her next film after Laal Singh Chaddha. The actress will be directed by Hansal Mehta and the thriller will be co-produced by her, for the first time.
