Riddhima Kapoor Sahni reveals she got 'a lot of film offers' when she was studying in London, says 'I'd wonder what to make of them because I was only 16-17'

Veteran actors Rishi Kapoor's and Neetu Kapoor's daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni might not have entered the film industry unlike brother Ranbir Kapoor but she did get film offers when she was around 16-17 and was studying in London. The jewellery designer talked about it in a recent interview and said she wondered what to make of those offers as she was merely a teenager at that time.

When asked what her alternate career choice would have been if she wasn't a fashion & jewellery designer, Riddhima said "I worked as a fashion designer and then moved to jewellery eventually when people started complimenting me for it. Then I collaborated with a partner and touchwood we have been getting an overwhelming response ever since our launch in 2015. If not, then I could have tried becoming a yoga teacher or even a chef."

She then revealed that she did get acting offers when she was in London. When asked why she didn't get into acting in Bollywood, she said, "Oh gosh! Kidhar se karu acting (how do I act)? When I was in London, I was getting a lot of film offers but I don’t think I ever thought of it. Not that I even had a discussion about it with my family. I came back from London and got married. When I was studying, I remember my mother would tell me about the film offers coming my way and I'd wonder what to make of them because I was only 16-17 at the time."

Riddhima is an Indian fashion designer and entrepreneur. She married businessman Bharat Sahni in 2006 and the couple is blessed with a daughter Samara Sahni.
