In the past few weeks, Twitteratis have their eyes on the micro-blogging site, thanks to Kangana Ranaut and Diljit Dosanjh's war of words. The war, amid the Farmers' Protest in Punjab, is taking different turns every single day and fans of Diljit are loving the way he is shutting Kangana up for her tweets against the revolt. Now, in the latest series, the Punjabi star has countered Kangana’s arguments on the Centre’s farm laws
On Twitter, Kangana asked Diljit what exactly is his problem with the three new farm bills. "@diljitdosanjhji I am simply asking what exactly you don’t like about the #FarmBills2020 ? For example I like the fact that now farmers can sell their produce any where in the country, just how you can earn money anywhere in the country, I also like the fact they can choose to skip the middle man and sell their products directly to corporates or consumers, everyone feels these are revolutionary steps taken by the government to help miserable condition of farmers in India,then why are you provoking protests?Please help me understand your POV," Kangana tweeted.

Diljit, in response to this, said that he doesn't owe her an explanation. Tweeting in Punjabi, he wrote, "Vaise Tan Mainu Lagda Bai Tainu Samjhaiye Yaan Dasiye EH Zaruri Ni.. A few days ago, Diljit slammed Kangana for claiming that he disappeared after tweeting in support of the ongoing protest and encouraging the mob. Diljit tweeted in Punjabi, "Don’t even think that I have disappeared. Who gave her the authority to decide who is a patriot and who is an anti-national? Who made her an authority on the matter? Have some shame before you label farmers as anti-nationals."
Kangana had launched attacks on Diljit and Priyanka Chopra Jonas stating that they are 'misleading and encouraging farmers’ protests'.
