Hrithik Roshan's popular superhero franchise Krrish is all set to get its fourth edition. The film which is in the making for quite some time now has left fans excited. While the makers have kept details of the project under tight wraps, a leading daily's report has it that Hrithik, as Krrish, will travel in time to bring back his scientist father Rohit Mehra and his most-trusted extra-terrestrial friend, Jadoo. As per a source close to the development, director Rakesh Roshan has utilised the lockdown to develop a worthy script and decided that Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies will be behind the visual effects. A Hollywood designer has reportedly been hired to give the army of super-villains a different look.
"As soon as they finalised the idea, Rakeshji began the pre-production work with Rajesh Roshan taking over the music department. Given the movie's ambitious theme, the director has entrusted Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies with the visual effects. He intends to introduce an army of super-villains who will battle the hero and has hired a Hollywood designer to give a distinct look to each baddie," the source told.

The source added that the cast of Krrish 4 is yet to be finalised but Priyanka Chopra Jonas will not reprise her role. It is also reported that the superhero film may go on floors in January 2021. "Rohit is integral to the story as he is the only person who can contact Jadoo. Rakeshji has designed the script cleverly to incorporate the much-loved alien from Koi Mil Gaya. While the cast is yet to be determined, Priyanka Chopra is not expected to reprise her role," the source added.
