Celebrating Sushant Singh Rajput's legacy, makers of Dil Bechara announce its OTT release date as July 24

The sudden and untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput left his family, friends and fans devastated. The actor who left behind a legacy in television, as well as Bollywood with his unique choice of cinema, will be remembered fondly forever. Celebrating Sushant and to commemorate his life, the makers of his final film-Dil Bechara shared its latest poster and announced its direct-to-web release date. Dil Bechara that marks the debut of Sanjana Sanghi will stream on Disney+Hotstar from July 24. As a tribute to Sushant, the film will be available to subscribers as well as non-subscribers in India. 

Directed by Mukesh Chhabra, Dil Bechara is a soulful love story and is said to be Sushant's best work in Bollywood. Sharing the poster featuring the actor with Sanjana, Fox Star, that is producing the film wrote, "A story of love, hope, and endless memories. Celebrating the late #SushantSinghRajput's legacy that will be etched in the minds of all and cherished forever. #DilBechara coming to everyone on @DisneyPlusHS on July 24. For the love of Sushant and his love for cinema, the movie will be available to all subscribers and non-subscribers."

Speaking of Dil Bechara, it is the official Hindi remake of The Fault In Our Stars based on John Green’s popular novel of the same name. Mukesh makes his directorial debut with the Hindi adaptation by Shashank Khaitan and Suprotim Sengupta. Apart from Sushant and Sanjana, Saif Ali Khan will be seen in an interesting cameo. The music is by AR Rahman and lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

Dil Bechara revolves around Kizie Basu and Immanuel Rajkumar Junior or Manny. It explores the funny, thrilling, and tragic adventure of being alive and in love. Together Kizie and Manny embark on an on-off-up-down-sad and sweet profound journey into the heart of that crazy little thing called life. It teaches them what it means to feel truly alive and fall in love.
