CBFC awards U/A certificate to Tiger Shroff's 'Baaghi 3', cuts Shraddha Kapoor's abuses and Disha Patani's close-up body shots

Tiger Shroff  is all set to feature in the third instalment of Baaghi 3. The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Ankita Lokhande and Riteish Deshmukh. Ahead of the film's release, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has awarded a U/A certificate although some visuals and other dialogues have been chopped off.

According to a report in an entertainment portal, the CBFC had an issue with Disha Patani’s close-up body shots in the song ‘Do You Love Me’ and replaced with long shots and visuals of other characters. Not just that, the film has a sequence of a child being beaten and thus, a disclaimer has been added in the beginning denouncing violence against children. Also, an abusive word against a deaf character has been replaced.

Apart from this, Shraddha's character is said to spew abuses time and again in the film. However, she just says half of it and then finishes it with the word ‘beep'. So all her verbal abuses have also been chopped off. “Just last month, we saw Kartik Aaryan saying ‘Madar’ in Love Aaj Kal and we all know what he meant there. The CBFC were okay with that but have problems with Shraddha’s dialogues in Baaghi 3. Why can’t they be consistent?," the portal quoted a trade source as saying.

Baaghi 3 is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Ahmed Khan.
