Karan Johar has finally unveiled the first look motion poster of his highly-anticipated historical drama Takht. He shared a short clip with a voiceover that gives an indication of the bloodshed and ploys the Mughal Emperors employed to acquire the throne.
Karan also shared the first look poster of the film and announced that the principal photography of the film will start in March. He also revealed the film’s release date that is going to be on December 24, 2021. Check out Karan’s tweets below.

Takht stars Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead.
It is based on the fight for the Delhi throne between Shah Jahan’s sons Mughal princes Dara Shukoh and Aurangzeb.
