Now, with yet another film, Bitti aka Kriti is set to narrate an emotional tale of surrogacy in Mimi.
Kriti Sanon's first look was revealed this afternoon as she got snapped on the sets of Mimi in Rajasthan. The actress will play the role of a young Muslim surrogate mother. We got our hands on a few pictures of the actress from the sets and from the looks of it, it seems that the actress has perfectly fit into her character in the film. In one of the photos, Kriti is seen in a burkha whereas in the others she is seen donning simple suits and a tazeeb. Mimi also stars the ever-dependable actor Pankaj Tripathi.

Mimi is based on Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy. Speaking of Mala Aai Vhhaychy, the film was released on February 11, 2011, and went on to win the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi. It was written, directed and produced by Samruoddhi Porey, a practicing lawyer in Bombay High Court. The release date and further details about Mimi are yet to be announced.
