The beautiful daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh- Sara Ali Khan turned 24 on Monday. The actress, who made her debut with Kedarnath in 2018 and subsequently appeared in Rohit Shetty directed Simmba, is all set to reprise Karisma Kapoor's role in the remake of David Dhawan's Coolie No.1 co-starring Varun Dhawan. She, in order to add to the celebrations, unveiled her first look from the film on her Instagram account. As she revealed the poster, Sara took the poetic way and unleashed the hidden shayra in her by penning a birthday poem.
"Happy Birthday to me Ji haan aaj hamara birthday aaya Ji haan maine apna poster laya Birthday ke din apna vada nibhaya Inshallah sabke dil ko yeh bhaya #sarakishayari will always be best," Sara wrote. In the poster, we can see the lovely actress in a glam avatar while Varun is all desi, sporting the coolie look.
Speaking of Varun's poster, the actor captioned it by writing, "Coolie No. 1'. Haat jao baju aya raju first look."
Coolie No. 1, directed by David, marks the maiden collaboration of Varun and Sara. The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh. For the remake, Varun will step into Govinda's shoe while Sara will take over Karisma's role. Paresh Rawal will replace Kader Khan. Johnny Lever has been roped to fill in Tiku Talsania's role. The film is scheduled to release on May 1, 2020.
