Katrina Kaif has cemented her place in Bollywood with her grit, determination and resilience. She has wowed everyone from her peers to the audience by proving her naysayers wrong time and again. The actress, who is busy with the promotions of her upcoming film Bharat that has Salman Khan in the lead revealed to an entertainment website that she has plans to turn producer by the end of this year.
Talking to an entertainment website, Katrina revealed about her production plans and said, “Yes, it's true. I plan to start my production house sometime towards the end of this year. I really hope to put my name as a producer to one of the projects I've been in discussions with. So let's see." Katrina will be joining the list of her contemporaries who have ventured into production. Spearheaded by Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone soon followed suit and now Alia Bhatt has also joined the bandwagon.

Priyanka runs a successful production house along with her mother Dr.Madhu Chopra whereas Anushka turned producer with her film NH 10 and later on went on to produce Phillauri and Pari. Deepika is producing her first film Chhapaak in which she stars as the main lead. Chhapaak is directed by Meghna Gulzar and is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
