Eid 2020 is more than a year away but two of Bollywood biggest superstars have already locked in the festive day for their releases. Eid 2020 will be highly exciting as it will witness Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar takes each other head-on at the box office. Salman’s Inshallah and Akshay’s Sooryavanshi are set to clash during the festival and this has got all the film buffs highly excited.
While Akshay’s film Sooryavanshi which is directed by Rohit Shetty was announced earlier with the announcement of its release along with the first look poster, Salman recently revealed the release date of Inshallah. In an interview to a portal, Salman said that he will start working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah after he wraps up Dabangg 3. He said, “I'll start Dabangg 3 first and then Sanjay will release his film after that. So, Dabangg will release in December and we will come on Eid, next Eid (2020)."

Inshallah will also see Alia Bhatt star opposite Salman for the first time. The film is also special as Bhansali and Salman are reuniting after a long gap. They last worked in Saawariya in which Salman had a supporting role. However, he is returning in a lead role after twenty years in a film directed by Bhansali.

On the other hand, Akshay and Rohit are teaming up for the first time and the actor is entering the director’s cop universe for the first time. Rohit made the film’s announcement in the most unique way possible. Well-known for the Easter eggs in his films, he introduced Akshay in the film Simmba as Veer Sooryavanshi, chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad through a cameo. Well, we can’t wait for Eid 2020 but we hope for the sanity of the audience this clash is averted.
