Paris Fashion Week 2019: Dead! Deepika Padukone’s Dior drama for the label’s SS20 show has us screaming Te Amo

Deepika Padukone recently attended the ongoing Paris Fashion Week 2019, making a head-turning appearance at Dior’s haute couture show. At the Hippodrome Paris Longchamp, Deepika, seated in the front row, became the part of label’s spring/summer 2020 collection.

A forest was created behind gargantuan wooden gates, inspired by Christian Dior’s sister, Catherine Dior and her love for gardening. The theme boasted of loftiest tulles, tie-dye, straw hats, and pigtails - carefree summer, and DP made sure that all eyes were on her and her summer-Boho-chic avatar!

Styled by Shaleena Nathani, DP's look resonated with the theme in her printed maxi dress from the label’s cruise collection. The tube number was high on bold prints, dark hues and featured an oversized bow. She layered her look with a chocolate brown trench coat that she casually draped over her shoulders. Channelling boho vibes and how!

Layers of gold necklace accentuated the look of her strapless number. Statement Dior handbag and knee-high lace boots screamed vintage vibes, and trust us, we're not complaining.

DP also shared a sneak peek of the Dior goodies and we definitely want some!

In the beauty department, Deepika chose for a soft dewy look with perfectly winged eyes and nude lips. Bringing back the 70s’ vibes, she opted for a retro buffone hairdo with a printed headband that matched her dress.

And that’s how it’s done!
