Internet sensation Kusha Kapila comes on board for Karan Johar's Netflix web series 'Ghost Stories'

After leaving us stunned and entertained with the anthology series Lust Stories, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee are back with yet another collaboration titled Ghost Stories. Ghost Stories, like Lust Stories, will premiere on Netflix and will be a blend of four spine-chilling shows directed by the ace filmmakers. While Zoya and Anurag have kickstarted the work on their stories, Karan, on Tuesday, began with his tale for the anthology series. A while ago, it was reported that Mrunal Thakur and Avinash Tiwary have been roped in for Karan's version, now, as per the latest development, Kusha Kapila also came on board. She, better known by the monicker Billi Maasi, shared the news of joining Karan and the team on her Instagram account on Wednesday.

Kusha, on Instagram, shared a picture with Karan and the clapboard and wrote, "YOU GUYS MANIFESTED THIS. @karanjohar ne mera 2019 bana diya, shivoham."

With Ghost Stories, Karan is venturing into the genre of horror web series for the first time and will mark his maiden collaboration with Kusha. It is also the first time that the filmmaker with work with Mrunal, who was last seen with Hrithik Roshan in Super 30 and Avinash, who made his Bollywood debut with Laila Majnu and went missing from action since then. 

Ghost Stories will soon stream on the popular digital entertainment platform Netflix soon.
