Sacred Games 2 will go deeper into Ganesh Gaitonde's past, reveals Nawazuddin Siddiqui ahead of the series release

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is an actor par excellence. The actor was won the trust of the audience with his impeccable acting within a short span of time, all thanks to his skill to pick up good scripts. Amongst all the unique stories that he has been a part of, one remains on top of the list of audience favourites and that is Netflix' web series Sacred Games. As the crime thriller is all set to enter into its second season on August 15, Nawazuddin, in an interview with media, spoke about his character Ganesh Gaitonde and gave a hint at what can be expected from the fresh season. The actor said Sacred Games 2 delves deeper into his character's past life.

" Last time when I was shooting Gaitonde, I had some questions in my mind that I did not have the answer. This time, there is a character arc that unveils his past, why he is behaving like that all the time, what is the thought behind his actions, those things are there in a much detail manner. No child is born as a criminal it is only the circumstances that turned them into one. When it comes to Gaitonde, he was introduced to violence at a tender age, went through a troublesome childhood. Therefore he became the person he is in the new season, the narrative goes deep down to that," Nawazuddin told.
