MX Player has roped in actors Mahesh Manjrekar, Deepti Naval and Sharman Joshi for its latest show titled Pavan Pooja. The OTT platform has earlier streamed some entertaining shows like ImMature, Bollywood Buzzinga by Varun Sharma, Love Ok Please and more.
Now, we hear that the streaming platform is coming up with an altogether new show starring ace film director and actor Mahesh Manjrekar and veteran actor Deepti Naval. Director of Hitcki Siddharth P. Malhotra will be directing the show on MX Player which is titled Pavan Pooja. Apart from Mahesh and Deepti, the cast includes Sharman Joshi and Gul Panag.

Furthermore, it was also reported, that the show has roped in newbies namely Taaruk Raina and Natasha Bhardwaj who is a successful model. The series will depict the tale of Pavan and Pooja in three phases.
On the work front, Deepti appeared in an episode of Made in Heaven, a web series on Amazon Prime which was directed by Zoya Akhtar. Mahesh was last seen in Total Dhamaal and will now be seen in Sahoo. On the web front, he made an impeccable mark with his role in Selection Day on Netflix. Sharman made his debut in Alt Balaji’s Baarish last month which co-starred Asha Negi.
Pavan Pooja will go on floors from this year.
