American Music Awards 2019: Taylor Swift bags the most AMAs of all time, breaks Michael Jackson’s record of 24 trophies

The American Music Awards 2019 were presented on Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and it was a night full of glamour and earful performances. This year’s AMAs was particularly great for Taylor Swift, who took six wins during the night. Apart from being honored as Artist Of The Year, which had been announced prior to the show, Taylor won Artist Of The Year, Favorite Female Artist, and Favorite Contemporary Adult Artist apart from Favorite Music Video Category for her song You Need To Calm Down and in the Favorite Album for Lover.

With her six wins, Taylor took her all-time total to 29 American Music Awards and what's more? She even surpassed Michael Jackson’s record of 24. For her Artist Of The Year award, she left behind Drake, Ariana Grande, Halsey and Post Malone. Adding to the excitement, Taylor also performed some of the biggest hits of her career, ending her long drawn battle with her former record label, Big Machine Label Group.
