Grammys 2020: Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X and Ariana Grande dominate the nominations by leading the pack

The much-awaited music awards Grammys 2020 is just two months away and the excitement among fans has shot up high. While the event that celebrates the musical spectacle created by renowned singers is yet a bit away, the team behind the awards announced the nominations on Wednesday. And much to everyone's delight, after two years since the head of the Grammys said that women artists need to step up if they want to be recognised, the 2020 nominations have a female upper hand. Leading the brigade is Lizzo with eight nominations while Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X with six each. Taylor Swift scored three nominations amidst her ongoing battle with a music label.

Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey, Post Malone, Swae Lee, Beyonce, The Jonas Brothers, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are a part of several other artists who are nominated.
