Two Decades Later! Keanu Reeves finds love again makes first appearance on red carpet holding GF Alexandra Grant’s hand

Internet’s boyfriend and Hollywood heartthrob Keanu Reeves has generally avoided public displays of affection during his illustrious 35-year-old career. For the longest of time Keanu has remained a bachelor but on Saturday, November 3, he was pictured holding hands with his girlfriend Alexandra Grant the artist at the LACMA Art+ Film event in Los Angeles. The 46-year-old artist met the actor at a dinner party in 2009 that led to nearly a decade of work collaborations, a love for art and books, and a friendship that finally culminated into their red carpet debut as a couple.

Keanu and Alexandra finally went public with their relationship at the event and were all smiles as they posed together on the red carpet and beamed into each other. According to media reports the couple had fun catching up with pals and at one instance Alexandra handed a phone to a female friend and asked her to take a picture of the couple.

Alexandra contributed with illustrations to Keanu’s first book, a grown-up picture book called Ode To Happiness, that was published in 2011. She also illustrated his poetry book titled Shadows that was released in 2015. They together run a publishing company called X Artists’ Books, launched in 2017 and focuses on unusual collaborations and books that generally don’t fall in any fixed genre.

Keanu has been linked to other celebs before Alexandra, such as actress Sandra Bullock but his most well-known relationship was with late Jennifer Syme. Keanu refrained from relationships for a long time after the tragic delivery of his stillborn daughter Ava Archer Syme-Reeves in 1999. The tragic loss was shortly followed by a car accident that cost the life of the child’s mother Jennifer Syme in 2001.
