Disney, with its 2013 released animated film Frozen, set the benchmark for the genre really high. The tale of sisters Elsa and Anna struck a cord with the audience of all age groups alike and became one of the favourite animated films of the year and went on to bag the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. Soon after, the anticipation surrounding the second part of the film left fans waiting with bated breathe and putting the wait to an end, the makers released the first trailer of Frozen 2 in June this year, shooting the excitement for the project high. And now, as the release of the film is inching closer, the makers unveiled yet another trailer that gave a glimpse into the icy adventure Elsa and Anna will be taking with the snowman Olaf and ice harvester Kristoff.
The trailer gives a sneak peek into the mystery of the Enchanted Forest where the secret behind Elsa's powers lies. The team of four sets out on an adventure filled with storms and icy cold locations to unravel the reason behind the Forest being isolated from the rest of the world for several years. In this journey, Elsa's growing powers and a quest to dig into the secrets of the Enchanted Forest, push her away from her beloved and kingdom. Amidst all this, Anna seems to play the role of the much-needed balancing force in Elsa's uncontrolled power-filled life. Watch the trailer here:
Frozen 2 has vocals of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, Santino Fontana, Rachel Wood and Sterling K Brown for important characters. The film is directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck and songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez are back on the film as well. Frozen 2 will release on November 22, 2019.
