SECRET’S OUT! Save the date because 'A Little Late with Lilly Singh' premieres on September 16, 2019

It's not every day that a woman of colour lands a chance to be a late-night host on primetime American television. So, YouTube sensation Lilly Singh aka Superwoman, whose show A Little Late with Lilly Singh will be out in September, wants to make sure it is inclusive and spreads positivity. What next? The release date of her show is out and we cannot even. Lilly's late-night show will premiere on September 16 on NBC making her the only woman hosting a late-night show on the broadcast networks. Veteran producer John Irwin has come aboard as showrunner for the series, which is taking over the 1:35 a.m. spot which was occupied by Last Call With Carson Daly for the past 17 years.

Lilly shared the big news on Instagram and captioned it as, "SECRET’S OUT! Save the date because A Little Late with Lilly Singh premieres on @nbc on September 16th! Tell a stranger, tag a friend, send a raven, write to your pen pal, dm your side ting, repost this pic, get it tatted, message your bae, send your coworkers a cal invite and tell your mother so she can tell your aunty who will tell her neighbour and hopefully create a circle of positive gossip for once. Take that aunty! I didn’t just wear a short skirt... I have my own show. #53Days #BlessingsUp#NotTheSaveTheDateMyParentsExpected"
