Girl power all its way! Natalie Portman to play the first female Thor in its fourth installment

As Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios, on Saturday, at the Comic-Con San Diego, announced the major plan for Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase IV, we all entered into a zone of excitement as unveiled the face who will star in Thor: Love and Thunder, the fourth installment of the series. Natalie Portman, as Jane Foster and would take up the mantle of Thor or Goddess of Thunder. This time, Thor will be a woman played by Natalie. During the event, Natalie addressed an excited crowd while making the announcement and said she always had a little hammer in her.

“Feels pretty good. I’ve always had a little hammer in me,” Portman told at the event.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be directed by Taika Waititi. During the event, Taika said, "That storyline is incredible is full emotion, love and thunder and introduces for the first time female Thor." Taika also added that the story will be taken from an existing comics story titled The Mighty Thor by Jason Aaron. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson have officially been confirmed to return in Thor: Love and Thunder which is set to release on November 5, 2021.

Natalie had been part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) since the early days, first appearing in the 2011's Thor as astrophysicist Jane Foster and returned for Thor: The Dark World in 2013. But she bowed out of Thor: Ragnarok with Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie stepping in as the new female lead. Back then she said, "As far as I know, I’m done. I mean, I don’t know if maybe one day they’ll ask for an Avengers 7 or whatever, I have no idea. But as far as I know, I’m done. It was a great thing to be a part of."
