Marvel Studios had an unarguably fantastic year at the cinemas with the mammoth success of their films like Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Considering the love they are garnering for their films, the studio made certain major announcements about its upcoming films and shows for the Phase IV at the San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, leaving fans delighted and crazy to watch them.
From Thor: Love and Thunder to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, here is the list of films Marvel Studios will be releasing during the Phase IV:
1. Thor: Love and Thunder
The title of the much-awaited fourth installment of Thor was announced as Thor: Love and Thunder. The major highlight remained Natalie Portman making a comeback as Jane Foster and would take up the mantle of Thor or Goddess of Thunder and Wield Mjolnir. In the fourth part, Thor will be a woman played by Natalie. Portman played the character Jane in the first two Thor films. Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson and Waititi have revealed the title and logo. Thor: Love and Thunder will release on November 5, 2021.

2. Black Widow
Scarlett Johansson will be back as Black Widow in the stand-alone film. Just 30 days since production, Scarlett introduced teaser of hand-to-hand combat in Budapest. Black Widow will also star David Harbour, Rachel Weisz and Florence Pugh, who will be a sister figure to Scarlett’s Natasha. The film is scheduled to release on May 1, 2020.

3. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studio announced the Doctor Strange sequel titled Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The film is scheduled to release on May 7, 2021. Scott Derrickson will be directing the film that will star Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen.
4. Blade
Two-time Academy Award-winner Mahershala Ali is set to don the character of Blade. Mahershala will play the role of half-human, half-vampire superhero Blade in the reboot. There were no further details about the project announced.

5. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will be the second major film of Marvel Studios’ Phase Four. The film will be released in theaters on February 12, 2021. Simu Liu will frontline Shang-Chi alongside Awkwafina. Chinese actor Tony Leung will play The Mandarin and Destin Daniel Cretton, who directed the indie Short Term 12 will step in as director for this one.

6. The Eternals
Marvel Studios is kicking off Phase Four with high-voltage star power. Angelina Jolie surprised fans at the event by announcing her presence in The Eternals. The film will be out on November 6, 2020 Jolie was joined on stage by the rest of the cast - Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Bryan Tyree Henry and Salma Hayek, as well as director Chloe Zhao.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier
The web TV series will be the first Marvel show to arrive on Disney+, Disney’s upcoming streaming platform. Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will reprise their MCU roles of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. It was also informed that Daniel Brühl will comeback as Baron Zemo, the villain of Captain America: Civil War. The series will arrive in the fall of 2020.

WandaVision
A spinoff of Avengers, WandaVision, as the title indicates, will be about Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff/Scarlett Witch and Paul Bettany’s Vision. Teyonah Parris is roped in to play the role of adult Monica Rambeau. The series will air in the spring of 2021.

Loki
Tom Hiddleston will be back as Loki, though it was not revealed whether he is alive or the series will be set in the past. Loki will also be streamed in the spring of 2021.

What If…?
Inspired from the alternate scenario storylines of the same name in Marvel Comics, What If…? will be an animated series for Disney+. Jeffrey Wright will lend his vocals to The Watcher. The Watchers are a race of extraterrestrials whose purpose is to watch over the multiverses. They were seen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.

Hawkeye
Apart from Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye, Kate Bishop will also be a part of this series. Kate, like Hawkeye, is an archer superheroine who has taken up the mantle of Hawkeye in comics. Hawkeye is scheduled to arrive in the fall of 2021.
