The final and eighth season of the popular series Game of Thrones is all set to premiere tomorrow on April 14 on HBO. The American fantasy show based on the novels written by George RR Martin has taken over the psyche of millions of fans around the globe and phrases like ‘Winter is Coming’ and ‘You know nothing, Jon Snow’ has made it to the popular culture lexicon. The series is based on Martin’s fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire and Indian fans can’t keep calm to watch the final season.
Everyone is eager to watch GOT 8 as soon as possible to avoid spoilers. For fans in the US, the show will premiere at 9 pm on April 14, on HBO. However, the Indian fans can watch Game of Thrones live streaming on Hotstar’s app and website. It will air at 6.30 am to coincide with the US time. However, you will be able to watch the series only if you’re a paid subscriber as it is available only on Hotstar Premium.
In case, if you’re not a subscriber of Hotstar and do not mind a few edited scenes then you can catch the show on Star World, Star World HD and Star World Premiere HD from April 15 at 10.30 pm. GOT will premiere in India on April 15 and the last episode will air on May 20. Unfortunately, the final and much-awaited season will have only six episodes.
