The final and eighth season of the highly popular series Game of Thrones is slated to premiere on April 14 on HBO and with less than a fortnight left, the makers decided to up the ante a little more. HBO dropped new short promos of the series but with very little footage that was not already seen in the first trailer. However, there is a glimpse of Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) together.
The promo starts with Jon deep in thought and standing in front of the Weirwood tree in Winterfell while Arya is standing behind looking intently at him. Apparently, Arya’s and Jon’s reunion was much-anticipated but there seems to be no warmth here. Jon and Arya are siblings who shared a close bond before they parted ways in Season 1. In the promo, Jon can be seen lighting candles and says, “Need to end this war.” Watch the previously released trailer below.
The rest of the footage has been seen earlier in the trailer released previously. In the promo we also get to see Tyrion who says, “We must fight together now, or die." Jon is seen walking away from Daenerys who is seen staring at the fire in a beautiful new braid.
