Game of Thrones season 8 Run-Time revealed! Mark your calendars NOW

Talk about the long winters and the endless wait for it to come. No one better than a Game of Thrones addict could know it. After seven dramatic seasons and seventy long hours, Winter finally came... And it has been 22 months since the evil Night King entered the other side of the Wall. And all that we could do was to wait.

In the meantime, many statements were made regarding the extended runtime of each episode in the final season. The longest episode yet was 79 minutes and 43 seconds. The upcoming season goes all out to 80 minutes for the final two episodes. A Twitter account revealed the runtime as per each episode and it has us in frenzy.

Season 8 of the popular fantasy series promises many new conflicts and challenges. Previously, its makers have also assured the fans that the battle sequences in this season will surpass the grandeur of season 6's Battle of the Bastards (episode 9) and season 7's The Spoils of the War (episode 4).

The final season has an extended duration but has also reduced its number of episodes from ten to six. It releases on April 17, 2019.
