HBO has finally brought some peace to the fans of the popular series Game of Thrones by unveiling its first full trailer of the final and eighth season. If we say that the trailer looks exciting then it would be a gross understatement especially when the entire season has to wrap up in mere six episodes.
The trailer opens with Arya Stark running in a dimly lit corridor with a bloodied face, but the next moment we see her sharpening her weapon and promising a much-awaited death for her mortal enemies. She is heard saying in the GOT trailer, “I know death, it’s got many faces. I look forward to seeing this one.” Now if that’s not chilling then we don’t know what is. The final season of Game of Thrones promises to be one gory and bloody affair.

The trailer shows a breathtaking landscape with dragons flying overhead and beautiful castles up the side of a cliff and we also see Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow marching on their steeds with their army. Sansa Stark aka Sophie Turner is also seen in the trailer although her look is of bewilderment and puzzlement. Jamie Lannister, Cersei Lannister and Tyrion Lannister also make an appearance. And yes, we catch a glimpse of the Night King as well.
The show’s final eighth season is slated to premiere on April 14 on HBO. Watch the trailer here:
