'Who Bit Beyoncé' mystery solved: Tiffany Haddish confirms it's Sanaa Lathan

Who bit Beyoncé? This question has been haunting many ever since Tiffany Haddish revealed what unfolded at a certain party hosted by Beyoncé and Jay-Z to a leading magazine. "There was this actress there. That’s just, like, doing the mostest. One of the most things she did? She bit Beyoncé in the face," said Haddish.

Things got so out of hand at one point that Haddish had to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement to stop talking about the controversial bite. But two months later here we are.

As the blind item was so intriguing, fans, as well as curious celebrities, had thrown in some names to guess who the biter was. And much to everyone's delight, the comedienne finally revealed... or sort of, over who the mysterious biter is.

Among the many names circulating, one happened to be that of Tony-nominated actress, Sanaa Lathan's. She took to Twitter in March and denied any such claims. She wrote, "Y'all are funny. Under no circumstances did I bite Beyonce and if I did it would've been a love bite"

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Haddish was asked if she could give credence to the rumours that Lathan was Beyoncé’s biter to which the Girls Trip star smiled.

“I’m super good friends with her stepmum and her dad [Stan, a producer-director], and they were mad at me,” she said. “They were like, ‘Why would you do this to the family? You know, black actresses, you guys have to stick together, it’s so hard for you guys to get work as it is, why would you try to ruin her career?’

However, Haddish argues that this isn’t how she saw it. Presumably referring to the fact that Beyoncé stopped her from confronting the biter, she added, "But I didn’t try to ruin her career. I never said her name! I was just trying to say how Beyoncé kept me from goin’ to jail that night. I could just shut my whole career down."

"[Beyoncé] was like,'Tiffany, no. Don't do that. That b**ch is on drugs. ... She not like that all the time. Just chill," she explained at the time.

According to Haddish, the gossip has turned her into a more desirable party guest. "The other day, someone was saying, like, 'Oh my God, you should keep your mouth shut 'cause now you're never gonna be invited to parties,' but I got invited to way more parties after that. It's ridiculous how many parties. 'Can you come to my party?' 'Can you come to my thing?' They want me to talk about something at their thing 'cause they think, like, 'This is gonna put me back on if Tiffany says something.'"

Neither Beyoncé nor Latham has commented on Haddish’s revelation yet.
