Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate, welcome their third child

The Royal baby is here!

The Kensington Palace shared the good news with a photograph and said, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge leave St Mary's Hospital in London with their new arrival, a baby boy. Their Royal Highnesses have thanked all staff at the hospital for the care and treatment they have received, and thanked members of the public for their warm wishes."

The medical team at the St. Mary's Hospital in London was led by Alan Farthing and Guy Thorpe-Beeston who delivered The Duchess' second child, Charlotte.

The Lindo Wing saw the birth of Prince George in 2013 and Princess Charlotte in 2015. Prince William was also born there.

The child will be fifth in line to the throne, behind big sister Charlotte, bumping William's younger brother Prince Harry one place down the line of succession. A change in the law after William and Kate were married in 2011 gave women the same rights of accession to the throne as men.

Another big celebration is in store for the Royal family. The wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is due to take place on 19 May 2018 at Windsor Castle in England. News is that Harry and Meghan are taking an active part in all the preparations. Apparently, the soon to be newly-weds have handpicked the flowers that they want to choose for the wedding.

Many congratulations to the royal family on the new prince charming.
