New mommy, make-up magnate and reality TV star, Kylie Jenner had announced on Sunday that her baby with boyfriend Travis Scott had been born on February 1. Now the 20-year-old has revealed, via an Instagram post, her daughter’s name – Stormi Webster. Kylie posted an image of her holding her daughter's tiny hand.

Speculation, however, continues over the choice of the name Stormi. While some websites say the name means having charm and being able to attract money, another claims Stormi signifies someone who has a free spirit and the biggest heart. Stormi’s parents are yet to reveal why they chose this name.

During her announcement on Sunday, Kylie had apologised for keeping her pregnancy a secret from her 101 million Instagram followers and fans. The baby, she revealed, weighed 8 lbs 9 oz and was born at 4:43 pm GMT.

As if making up for her months of silence, Kylie had also shared videos from her pregnancy phase.

The congratulations, of course, poured in. Big sister Kim Kardashian West congratulated her, writing on her website, “Mommy Kylie!!! You did it!!! I'm so incredibly proud of the woman you have grown up to be and I know that you are going to be the best mom to your new baby girl.”

Kim also added, “Our girls are two weeks apart and I can't wait for them to be. I am so proud that you do what you want to do and live your life the way you want, you will pass down all of those amazing qualities to your baby girl. You were made to be a mom! I love you.”

Incidentally, it is baby boom time at the Kardashians this year. Kim Kardashian and her rapper husband Kanye West had their third baby, Chicago this January. Next in line to become a mom in the KarJenner family, is Khloé Kardashian. The 33-year-old reality star gave fans and followers an update on Tuesday, when she shared two portraits of herself as she enters her third trimester. “Baby mama KoKo! 29 Weeks and counting,” was how Khloe captioned the photo set.
