Hawkeye played by actor Jeremy Renner reported to have his own series, thinks all MCU characters should have a back story

Actor Jeremy Renner believes that all the characters based on the Marvel Comics are rich enough to get a backstory but revealed that he knows nothing about a possible series on his character Hawkeye.

Hawkeye, an archery ace played by Renner, is said to be the latest member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to have his own series. Asked about the Hawkeye original series, Renner said,  "I think all the characters that Stan Lee had created and that Feige (Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige) has now taken the reins of... all the characters in this world are deserving of or are rich enough to get a back story and character development.

Renner also feels all the characters of MCU are well thought out, admitting, "It's a very rich world. Hence why we have so many films told on the big screen in a global way. So any character I feel like... now we have a raccoon," he said referring to Rocket from the "Guardians of the Galaxy".

There is also talks about a limited series being developed on MCU characters like Falcon and Winter Soldier, as well as, Loki, Vision and Scarlet Witch.

Fans will see the actor reprise his role as the bow-wielding character again in Avengers: Endgame which is the 22nd film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The multi-starrer superhero film will hit theatres on April 26.
