It’s Koffee with Karan time again. And India’s most popular celebrity chat show begins tonight on Star World. Its suave host, the irrepressible TV impresario and prolific filmmaker Karan Johar, will spectacularly open the show with two of Bollywood’s leading actresses – Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. It cannot get better than that. Given that Deepika was once in a relationship with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia is now dating him and working with Ranbir in Dharma Productions’ Brahmastra. But KJo later comes up with another exciting twosome that sends a strong message for Women Power in Bollywood. He will have Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra on the couch at a later date.
There is feverish anticipation in filmi and TV circles because in Koffee with Karan, KJo uses the medium of television to excitingly showcase Bollywood relationships that everybody wants a peep at. And as the countdown to prime time on Star Plus tonight begins, where will Karan Johar himself be? PeepingMoon.com can tell you exclusively that he will be busy and hard at work. Doing what? Ayushmann Khurrana
Both the actors have had a great run of films this year. Ayushmann has two releases this month in Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho. The first is a black comedy and thriller and the second an out-and-out comedy. Both the films are doing extremely well. Vicky has done even better. He started the year with Love Per Square Foot then went on to have releases in Raazi, Lust Stories, Sanju and Manmarziyaan. That’s a lot of cinema between them. So while you are waiting to see Deepika and Alia on Koffee with Karan tonight, Karan himself will be working to give you a future episode of the show with Ayushmann and Vicky.
