Sonu Sood gives a befitting reply to troll who called his charity work ‘PR stunt’

Sonu Sood earned himself the name of ‘messiah’ for the timely help he provided to stranded migrant workers during the Coronavirus lockdown. However, Sonu continued his philanthropic work and have been offering all kinds of help to students, medical patients and others. However, not everyone is sure of his good intentions.

Recently, a person called Snehal shared a tweet asking Sonu to help them get treatment for their ailing child. Sonu immediately offered his help, but his good deed was not appreciated by a Twitter user who alleged that the actor is running a PR exercise considering how ‘Snehal’s’ account does not seem legitimate. However, Sonu was quick to defend himself and did not take the accusation lying down. He shared receipts to clear his name and shared screenshots of a hospital’s scheduled paediatric surgeries and that Snehal’s name and another picture of tests conducted on a 1.5-years-old child.

This is not the first time Sonu has been accused of his charity work being false. During the time he was helping people with transport this same issue had cropped up, but several of the Twitter profiles were made only to reach Sonu by numerous migrant labourers and people who rarely use social media. Once they were able to reach the actor and manage to get home to their native towns, the social media handles were subsequently deleted as they served the purpose. Sonu’s fans also defended him saying that the personasking for help could have reached the actor through direct message.
