Amitabh Bachchan wreaked havoc in the hearts of his Bollywood colleagues, friends, family and fans by announcing that he has tested positive for Coronavirus today. The veteran actor took to social media to convey the worrisome news. Soon after, his son Abhishek Bachchan also revealed that he has also tested positive for COVID-19.

Amitabh was rushed to Nanavati Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai and is under critical care and strict observation of senior doctors at the hospital. Bollywood celebs and fans took to social media to pray for the health of the two actors. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Bhumi Pednekar, Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Sanon, Yami Gautam, Parineeti Chopra, Boman Irani, Dr Harsh Vardhan, Riteish Deshmukh, Neha Dhupia, Sulaiman Merchant, Esha Deol, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Mahesh Babu, Rajkummar Rao, Paresh Rawal, Preity Zinta, Dulquer Salmaan, Bipasha Basu, Sonu Sood, Sonam Kapoor, Nitin Gadkari, Mammooty, Mohanlal, Rana Daggubati, Dhanush, Ravi Teja, Randeep Hooda, Madhuri Dixit, Vivek Oberoi, Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, Irfan Pathan, Geeta Phogat and several others have wished them speedy recovery.
